Abstract:In this talk, we will give a brief introduction to the optimal transport problem, and then introduce some of recent results on the global regularity theory, which are joint works with Shibing Chen (USTC) and Xu-Jia Wang (ANU). In addition, we will talk about some applications in the reconstruction problem in cosmology based on a joint work with Gregoire Loeper (Monash)
