Abstract:In this talk, we consider the geometric property of free boundary to compressible subsonic jet flows. More precisely, if the nozzle wall is convex, it is proved that the fluid speed takes minimum on the free boundary and the concavity of free boundary will be given. In addition, the optimal regularity of free boundary at detachment is obtained, provided that the nozzle wall satisfies some corresponding geometric assumptions.
