Abstract:Associated varieties of vertex algebras capture not only some of important properties of vertex algebras but are also closely related to the Higgs branches of four-dimensional N=2 superconformal field theories. In the talk, we will give examples of associated varieties of simple affine vertex algebras for admissible and also non-admissible levels.
